Success story of IIT topper Jeetendra Reddy: After studying from a big institute like IIT, many people join jobs with big packages. Meanwhile, there are some people who have their own passion. Some people are thirsty for knowledge and want to study as much as possible, and want to learn more. Anumula Jithender Reddy is one such person. his/her story tells us about passion for learning. Jithender Reddy achieved All India Rank (AIR) 1 in IIT-JEE Advanced examination in 2010.

Jitendra was born in Telangana

Jitendra was born in a middle-class family in Warangal, Telangana (then Andhra Pradesh). his/her father, Ramachandra Reddy, was a professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT). his/her mother T. Shobha was a government school teacher. In such a situation, emphasis was laid on studies in Jitendra’s house.

After completing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering stream from IIT Bombay, Jitendra decided to study further instead of working. Received Master’s degree (M.Tech) from Switzerland’s famous institute ETH Zurich. he/she is currently pursuing his/her PhD at the Institute of Neuroinformatics, a joint program of ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich.

Jitendra was a good student in mathematics and science since childhood. Apart from this, after scoring good marks in class 12th, he/she appeared for one of the toughest exams in India, IIT-JEE, which is today known as JEE Advanced, in the year 2012.

After securing first rank in JEE Advanced, Jitendra took admission in IIT Bombay. While studying at IIT, he/she also got internships at QEA Eduventures and Caltech SURFriends in the US.
