New Delhi. Lucknow Supergiants owner Sanjiv Goenka did not retain KL Rahul for IPL 2025. Sanjeev neither tried to include him/her in the team in the auction. Last time, the team’s performance was poor under Rahul’s captaincy due to which Sanjeev even reprimanded him/her. However, a few days after the auction, Sanjeev said that Rahul is talented.

Lucknow Supergiants owner Sanjeev Goenka said in TRS Podcast, “KL Rahul has always been like my family and will always be so. he/she has not only captained Lucknow Supergiants but has also performed well.
