Fire broke out in Bollywood singer Shaan’s building, 80 year old woman seriously injured, admitted in ICU.

A major accident took place in Bollywood singer Shaan’s building in Mumbai on Monday. Two incidents of fire have been reported in the city, one of which was in Singer’s building in Branda area. There is news of an elderly woman being seriously injured in this incident, who has been admitted to the ICU of a nearby hospital. This building is Fortune Enclave in Bandra West, on the 11th floor of which Shaan lives with his/her family. It is said that the fire broke out on the 7th floor of the building at around 1:45 pm. During this time, the condition of an 80-year-old woman has deteriorated due to difficulty in breathing. According to ‘India Today’, the authorities immediately sent 10 fire brigade vehicles to the spot to extinguish the fire and evacuate the residents.

The fire started due to short circuit!

Initial investigation has revealed that the cause of the fire was short circuit. However, officials have not confirmed this yet. There is no information available regarding whether Shaan was in his/her house or not when the incident occurred.

Fire broke out in Kurla scrap market also

In Mumbai itself, the second incident of fire on Monday took place in Kurla Scrap Market of Mankhurd. A massive fire broke out in this area in the evening, due to which 30 to 40 warehouses were burnt to ashes. However, there is no news of any casualty in this incident. But there has been a lot of damage to property.

Police and fire brigade officials engaged in investigation

The video of the fire is viral on social media. People are expressing concern on this. One user has written, ‘Hope everyone will be safe there.’ Mumbai Police and Fire Department officials are busy investigating both the incidents.
