FIR registered against Yash’s ‘Toxic’, Karnataka Forest Minister took action

South superstar Yash is shooting his/her next film ‘Toxic’ in Bengaluru. But an FIR has been registered against this movie of his/her. The news is that
Karnataka Forest Department has registered an FIR in connection with the incident of cutting of hundreds of trees in Bengaluru for shooting. Sources said that the FIR has been registered after getting consent from the court. KVN Productions, General Manager of Canara Bank and General Manager of HMT have been named accused in the FIR. Karnataka Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre said that trees were being cut on HMT land in Bengaluru for the shooting of the film superstar Yash starrer ‘Toxic’. Action will be initiated in this regard. The minister said, ‘The illegal felling of hundreds of trees on the forest land occupied by HMT for the shooting of the film Toxic has raised serious concerns.’

Claim of cutting trees during the shooting of ‘Toxic’

he/she said that this illegal work is clearly visible from the satellite images, ‘I visited the spot today for inspection. I have directed that immediate and strict legal action be taken against those responsible for this crime. Khandre told that ‘Shooting of the film Toxic is going on. I have personally inspected the spot. The entire picture there has changed and this has been confirmed by aerial survey photographs. I am writing a letter to the Greater Bengaluru Municipal Corporation demanding action. There is a provision to register a case under the Forest Act. We have got all the information.

Trouble on Yash’s film ‘Toxic’

Minister Ishwar Khandre said, ‘The matter is yet to be investigated. I have written a letter about this. The film team has built a small village on the land. Conservation of forests is my biggest duty and I will not compromise on it. Reacting to this development, Union Heavy Industries and Steel Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that Karnataka Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre has encroached on the land of public sector unit HMT.

Ishwar Khandre filed wrong FIR on ‘Toxic’?

Kumaraswamy said, ‘I will soon provide detailed information about everything. Ishwar Khandre has encroached on the HMT premises. There is a legal dispute going on in the court and we are waiting for the decision. We will fight this battle not for publicity, but through legal means. he/she claimed that Khandre lacked information and knowledge as HMT had sold the land to Canara Bank in 2002.

Union Minister Kumaraswamy’s different claim

The Union Minister’s comments come a day after Khandre visited HMT land and initiated action against cutting hundreds of trees in Bengaluru for the shooting of Yash’s film ‘Toxic’. “There has been large-scale encroachment of forest land in many areas, including Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu and Bengaluru districts,” Kumaraswamy said. The Forest Minister is showing special concern only for HMT land.
