FIR filed against Rashmika Mandanna’s ex and superstar Kannada actor Rakshith Shetty

Kannada superstar Rakshit Shetty is in trouble. An FIR has been filed against the popular actor of films like ‘777 Charlie’ and ‘Kirik Party’ and his/her production company ‘Paramavah Studio’. This FIR has been filed against Rakshit and his/her production company for using a song in the film ‘Bachelor Party’ without permission and for copyright infringement. According to the report of ‘Asianet’, Rakshit Shetty has been accused of illegally using songs from other films in ‘Bachelor Party’. In the FIR lodged with the police, the complainant has alleged that Rakshit Shetty’s production house has allegedly used ‘Omme Ninnu’ and ‘Nyaya Elide’ in the film without obtaining the copyright. These songs are under the copyright of Naveen Kumar. There were discussions with Rakshit Shetty’s team regarding the use of these songs, but no mutual agreement could be reached.

FIR has been registered at Yashwantpur police station

In his/her complaint, Naveen Kumar has stated that the songs used in ‘Bachelor Party’ are under his/her copyright and Shetty did not ask him/her before using the songs. he/she has lodged a formal complaint at the Yashwantpur police station. After registering the FIR, the officials have started investigating the case. The police have also issued a notice to Rakshith Shetty in this regard.

Rakshith and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Kirik Party’ was also accused

It is a coincidence that earlier in 2016, Rakshit’s ‘Kirik Party’ was also accused of plagiarism for allegedly copying a tune. This tune was originally said to be Hamsalekha’s. Rashmika Mandanna was paired with Rakshit Shetty in this film. During this time, both of them came close and got engaged in 2017. However, in 2018, Rakshit and Rashmika’s relationship broke up with mutual consent.
