Final will be held between Karun Nair and KL Rahul’s teams, Rituraj Gaikwad’s dream broken

Vijay Hazare Trophy Final: The finalist teams of Vijay Hazare Trophy have been decided. Under his/her captaincy, Karun Nair has taken Vidarbha to the finals of this tournament. Karnataka has already made it to the title match.

New Delhi. Karun Nair’s team Vidarbha, who is in amazing form, has made it to the finals of Vijay Hazare Trophy. Vidarbha defeated Rituraj Gaikwad’s team Maharashtra by 69 runs in the semi-finals played on Thursday. Now Vidarbha will face Karnataka in the final. Interestingly, Karun Nair’s first team is Karnataka. he/she left this team a few years ago and joined Vidarbha and has now taken it to the title match.

Vidarbha scored a huge score of 380 runs while batting first in the semi-final of Vijay Hazare Trophy played in Vadodara against Maharashtra. From his/her side, both openers Yash Rathore and Dhruv Shorey scored centuries. Yash Rathore scored 116 runs in 101 balls. Dhruv Shorey played an inning of 114 runs in 120 balls. Both of them made a partnership of 224 runs for the first wicket.

Captain Karun Nair came on the field after Yash Rathod was out on the score of 224. Continuing his/her unmatched form, he/she played an innings of 88 runs in 44 balls. During this, he/she scored 28 runs in a single over. Jitesh Sharma also played an excellent inning of 51 runs.

Maharashtra team could not chase this score and could only score 311 runs for 7 wickets. Arshin Kulkarni played an inning of 90 runs for Maharashtra but could not lead the team to victory. Apart from this, Ankit Bavane scored 50 runs. Vidarbha will now face Karnataka in the final. Karnataka is being captained by Mayank Agarwal. KL Rahul also plays for Karnataka, but it is not certain that he/she will play the final. After the defeat against Australia, BCCI has asked all the players to play domestic cricket. It is believed that most of the veterans will play in the Ranji match. There are no such indications for Vijay Hazare Trophy.
