New Delhi. The cricket teams of India and Pakistan can clash in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup. Both the teams have secured tickets for the semi-finals. Both are in different groups. In such a situation, both the teams can win their semi-final match and meet in the final. India A team, captained by Tilak Verma, has won 3 consecutive matches in this tournament and made it to the semi-finals where it will face Afghanistan. On the other hand, by winning 2 out of three matches, Pakistan has booked the ticket for the last four where it will face Sri Lanka.

The teams of India and Pakistan (IND vs PAK) have clashed once in the current tournament. Both of them faced each other on the league stage where India started the tournament with a bang by defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets. Now both can face each other in the final. Sri Lanka vs Pakistan will face each other in the semi-finals tomorrow at 2.30 pm
The first semi-final match will be between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. This match will be played at Al Emirates on Friday (25 October) at 2:30 pm Indian time. The second semi-final will be played between India and Afghanistan on the same day. The winning teams of the semi-finals will be played at Al Emirates on Sunday (27 October) at 7 pm Indian time.

India A made it to the semi-finals by being on top
The Indian team has entered the last four by winning all its three matches played in the group stage and topping the points table with 6 points. In India’s group, there was Pakistan team which won 2 out of 3 matches and entered the semi-finals with four points. From Group A, Sri Lanka won two out of 3 matches while Afghanistan also won 2 matches. On the basis of better net run rate, Sri Lanka remained on top in its group while Afghanistan team remained at second position. A total of 8 teams were participating in the tournament. But Bangladesh A and Hong Kong have been eliminated from Group A, while from Group B, host UAE and Oman are out of the race for the semi-finals.
