Files do not get salvation even after visiting 16 Dhams… Why did PM Modi say this in front of the ministers

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has instructed his/her ministers to counter the false narrative. PM Modi asked all ministers and top officials to counter the lies being spread by the opposition and provide correct information to the public. Modi has also asked the ministers to convey the decisions taken by the government to the people in the right manner. A source involved in the meeting held on Wednesday evening said that the PM said that the government has taken many important decisions to change the lives of the common man and people of all sections.There was a loss in the election
The BJP feels that the opposition had spread fear among the people during the entire election campaign about abolishing or amending the Constitution. The BJP also feels that this is why the people got misled by the opposition and its target of 400 suffered a setback. Modi said that this is an allegation which was dismissed as untrue, but now it needs to be strongly countered. Chairing the first meeting of the Council of Ministers in his/her third term, Modi asked ministers and mid-level central government employees to spend 2-3 days every year in aspirational districts.

During the five-hour meeting, PM Modi urged ministers and officials to learn to work when the country has adequate resources, manpower and expertise. Sources said the PM stressed the need to think big and speed up decision-making for rapid development in all sectors. Taking a sarcastic dig at bureaucrats moving files from one table to another, Modi compared it to a pilgrimage. A source quoted the PM as saying that we get salvation after the Char Dham Yatra, but files do not get salvation even after visiting 16 Dhams.

Modi also asked ministers and top civil servants to involve state government officials for smooth implementation of schemes and plans. his/her remarks came after going through presentations by two groups of secretaries on infrastructure and social welfare, which detailed the roadmap for the next five years and 2047. he/she also asked top bureaucrats to assess manpower restructuring in each department and ministry and focus on capacity building of all employees, including multi-tasking staff. The government has launched iGOT Karmayogi, an online learning platform for capacity building of all employees.

TOI has learnt that during the interaction, Union minister Kiren Rijiju said earlier people used to visit Delhi to see India Gate, Red Fort and Qutub Minar, now the national capital has more attractions including the new Parliament House, National War Memorial and PM Museum. he/she suggested that cities with iconic structures or elements should be used in branding them like the Eiffel Tower around Paris, an official said. There are about 60-plus cities that can be developed on that model.
