New Delhi. Lucknow Super Giants’ young fast bowler Mayank Yadav is injured again. Mayank could not even bowl his quota of overs in the match against Mumbai Indians. He suddenly felt pain while bowling and left the match midway and returned to the pavilion. Mayank had recovered from the injury after a long time but he again felt pain in the same place due to which he was out of the team earlier. The reaction of team coach Justin Langer and captain KL Rahul on Mayank’s injury has come to light. LSG coach Langer said that Mayank complained of pain in the same place due to which he remained away from the field for about 3 weeks.

21-year-old fast bowler Mayank Yadav could not complete his fourth over against Mumbai Indians. He made a comeback against Mumbai after missing 5 matches. Justin Langer said, ‘He felt pain at the same place. His rehab was excellent. He was bowling without any pain last week. He appeared to be in good condition. We will get him scanned tomorrow, then the full extent of the injury will be known. Mayank Yadav bowled 3.1 overs against Mumbai in which he lost one wicket. He started the IPL with a bang. He bowled excellently in the first two matches.

Mayank Yadav returned after 3 weeks
Before the return of Mayank Yadav, Lucknow Super Giants assistant coach Sridharan Sriram had said that he is close to playing again. The 21-year-old fast bowler from Delhi surprised everyone by taking three consecutive wickets and crossing the speed of 150 kmph consecutively. But he got injured in the third match itself. He did not play the entire Ranji Trophy season due to ‘side strain’. Mayank had returned after about three weeks of rest due to a lower abdominal injury.
