Almost 11 years after the death of her husband, she too has said goodbye to this world. Shabana Azmi, who was one of the couple’s close friends, has expressed grief over the demise of Rupa Jain.

Shabana Azmi, one of Farooq and Rupa’s closest friends, has told that this sad news came on the morning of 29 October. While talking to ‘Zoom’, Shabana said, ‘Farooq and Rupa were my closest friends since college. We all knew how connected they were to each other. I don’t think Rupa ever recovered from Farooq’s sudden death. She kept trying everything possible to take care of her two daughters.

Let us tell you that Farooq Shaikh died on 28 December 2013 in Dubai due to a heart attack. The actor was 65 years old then. he/she is said to be buried near his/her mother’s grave in the Muslim graveyard, Four Bungalows, Andheri West.
