Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar started taking couples therapy even before marriage. Regarding which, the actress said in the podcast that we started taking couples therapy about 6 months before or after the engagement.

We even went for therapy a few days after our wedding. We got married on Monday and the next appointment was on Wednesday. The doctor was shocked to see us and asked, “Why are you guys here? The wedding happened just 24 hours ago.”

Shibani Dandekar further said that going for therapy is somewhat like going to the gym. Many times during the therapy session, both of us would just stare at each other and we would have nothing to talk about. Also, there were days when more time was needed than normal.
