Fact Check: Video claiming that Krishna Bhajan was played at a concert in Kuwait is fake, know what is the truth

New Delhi: A video is viral on social media these days. It is being claimed in the video that a Hindu devotional song was played at a music festival in Saudi Arabia, which was greatly appreciated by the Arab public. Vishvas News in its investigation found that the viral video clip is edited. The audio of this video has been changed with the help of editing tools.

To investigate the viral video, Vishvas News first searched the keyframes of the video on Google Lens. This entire video was uploaded on the YouTube channel of Saudi singer, musician and actor Abdul Majeed Abdullah on 27 May 2024. It was written in the description that this is a video of a music festival organized in Kuwait. The viral clip can be seen after 2 minutes 45 seconds in this clip. Here it can be clearly heard that some other song is playing in the background, not any bhajan.

This video of Abdul Majeed Abdullah’s concert is audiolab event Also found on YouTube channel. It was uploaded on 31 May 2024. The caption of the video read: ‘Abdul Majeed Abdullah’s spectacular performance of ‘Hala Besh’ at The Arena, Kuwait 2024.” Audiolab Events organized the sound service and event installation for Abdul Majeed Abdullah’s concert at The Arena, Kuwait in May 2024. Here also it can be clearly heard that some other song is playing in the background and not a bhajan.

Talked to Kuwaiti journalist Malik Baqir Asad about this matter. he/she told that this clip is from Abdul Majeed Abdullah’s concert held at The Arena in Kuwait in May. No hymns were played in the entire concert. This clip is edited. Instagram user happylife.013, who shared the edited video, has more than 16000 followers.
