Fact Check: This Good Friday procession was taken out in Jammu, not in Punjab, video goes viral with misleading claim


New Delhi: On the first day of the New Year, a video was shared widely on social media. In which two people together are flogging a person. Some users have claimed that this video is from Punjab. Let us know what is the truth of this viral video.

What are the claims of the users?

On social media, an X handle named @FrontalForce posted this video on January 1 and wrote that it is from Punjab.

There is an Instagram user Paltu Paltan Shared a video. On which it was written – Punjab has really fallen, conversion is at its peak.

Is this video really from Punjab?

When Sajjag’s team extracted the keyframes of the viral video and checked it through reverse image, many media reports were received. In which this picture was posted. Sajag’s team Outlook India A report dated 29 March 2024 was received. In which it was told that Christian devotees participating in the procession on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter in Jammu.
