There were fierce allegations and counter-allegations on this issue between the ruling BJP at the Center and the opposition party Congress. Investigation revealed that the person sitting on the chair with PM Modi in the viral picture is not George Soros but former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. This picture is from October 2019, when the two leaders met in Delhi. Users are now sharing the picture, which is about five years old, on social media with false claims.
