New Delhi: A video is being shared on social media for a long time. In which some people are seen vandalizing the women’s toilet. While sharing this video, users are claiming that RSS workers hoisted saffron on the women’s toilet.

What are the claims of the users?

On social media, a user named @Shy_Anny_ shared a video of people vandalizing the toilet and claimed that RSS workers in Aurangabad broke the board of the women’s toilet and hoisted the saffron flag on the toilet.

An Instagram user named tarkik_banda has shared a video. On which Aurangabad: RSS workers broke the board of women’s toilet and hoisted the saffron flag on the toilet.

What was found in the investigation?

When Sajjag’s team investigated the viral video, the video being shared on social media turned out to be one year old. First of all, Sajjag’s team took out key frames of the viral video and checked it through reverse image. After which many X posts were found. Which were from last year.

After this, Sajjag’s team started searching for media reports related to this matter on Google. After which a video report of TOI was received. Which was of 21st March 2023.

From this it became clear that this video is not recent and the claim of hoisting saffron on the toilet also turned out to be false. After that, Sajjag’s team started searching media reports on Google as to why this was done at that time. after which Till today A report was received. In which it was told that the names of Aurangabad and Osmanabad cities of Maharashtra have been changed. Now Aurangabad will be named Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar and Osmanabad will be named Dharashiv.

After that Sajjag’s team received an X-post dated 20 March 2023. In which this video was also shared. That post claimed that a protest took place in support of Sambhajinagar.
