Fact Check: RSS letter supporting AAP candidate from West Delhi Mahabal Mishra fake


New Delhi: Amidst the hustle and bustle of Lok Sabha elections 2024 in the country, a letter from RRS is viral. This letter claims that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has supported Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi Lok Sabha seat. BOOM fact checked and found that the viral letter is fake. Speaking to BOOM, former RSS state pracharak Rajiv Tuli termed the viral letter as fake and said that the Sangh never issues letters in support or opposition to any party candidate. While sharing the letter, a Facebook user wrote, ‘#RSS has given full support to West Delhi Lok Sabha 2024 candidate Shri Mahabal Mishra ji Aam Aadmi Party! On May 25, all Sangh workers will press the broom button.

BOOM’s investigation found that the viral letter is fake and has not been issued by RSS. On examining the letter, many discrepancies are seen in it. Also, it has the signature of Dr. Manmohan Vaidya, whose post has been mentioned as All India Publicity Chief.
