New Delhi: A video shows a plane crashing. This 21 second video is very scary. It can be seen in the video that a huge fire has broken out from below in the flying plane. Along with the fire, a lot of smoke is coming out from the plane and after some time the plane explodes. Meanwhile, there is a sound of screaming as if it is the voice of those who are making the video. The wings of the plane fly away and loud noises are heard.

What is the claim?

It is claimed that this is a video of the plane crash in Abu Dhabi. It is claimed that this is an Emirates Airlines plane. Posting this video, X handle @RichardHanania wrote, ‘Planes are falling from the sky and the media refuses to even talk about it.’ This X post has gone viral rapidly. It has been viewed more than 10 lakh times in less than 8 hours.

What is the truth?

We investigated the video to find out the truth. During reverse image analysis, these videos were also found on many other social media handles.

But upon further investigation it was found that this is a small part of a game video. It is made from AI for GTA video game.

Then we found a post on the X handle of Emirates Airlines Support in which it denied the authenticity of the video going viral on social media. Emirates Support’s ‘Emirates confirms that this is fabricated and untrue.’

Then Khaleej Times Quoting the same X post, it has also been reported that the video is not genuine.
