A person named Jitendra Prasad Singh wrote in his/her post on X, ‘This person is Justice Chinnaswamy Swaminathan Karnan. he/she is coming out after serving a six -month jail sentence for contempt of court. Karnan is not an ordinary person. he/she was a judge of the Madras High Court. The first Dalit judge there. he/she is also the first judge to serve the jail sentence while being a judge.

The post further wrote, ‘In 2017, he/she sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A letter that contained corruption of 20 judges. This letter became a big controversy. This created a constitutional crisis. For the first time in history, an existing judge has accused other judges of corruption. The central government was not ready to release this letter. The Supreme Court registered a case of contempt of court against Justice Karnan.
