What was found in investigation?
To investigate the picture and claim going viral on social media, Boom talked to a journalist from Odisha about this. he/she said that the full name of the accused in the police arrested report is Advik Manoj Srivastava, but no more information is available about his/her parents. Along with this, Manoj Srivastava is written in front of the person seen in the viral picture. When searched this information on Google, the boom team reached Manoj Srivastava’s profile. In which Manoj has described himself as Ayodhya in Faizabad.
The boom team then interacted with Manoj. During the conversation, Manoj said, “I have only one son named Akshat Srivastava and he/she owns a Scooty showroom in Ayodhya itself.”
Akshat Srivastava told Boom that his/her father is a BJP member for the last 30 years and also runs a Facebook page where he/she has pictures with many leaders. At the same time, the name of the father of the accused in the case is also Manoj, in such a situation, people have misused his/her pictures. After that the team of Boom asked the station in -charge of Info City in Bhubaneswar about this viral claim, then he/she denied it. While doing that the person seen in the viral picture is not the father of the accused.
conclusion: Boom It was revealed in the investigation that the person seen in the viral picture is not the father of the accused in the Kiit case. Bhubaneswar police officer has also denied the claim.
