Fact Check: Cows come running from the forest at the sound of a servant? Know the truth about this heart winning video

New Delhi: Can cows leave grazing at the sound of a human being and come running? Animals win our hearts with their behavior, but can any animal leave food and come on our call? Similar claims are being made about cows on social media. A video is being shared on different social media platforms in which cows can be seen running away from the forest at the sound of the cowshed owner’s voice. Let us examine this claim.

What is the claim?

In the 6.05 minute video, an elderly man is shouting and cows are coming running towards him/her. The person making the video tells that on the call of Swami ji, the cows leave grazing and come running from the forest. It has been told in the video that these cows belong to a cowshed which is in Sandwa village located in Bhiwani district of Haryana. At the end of the video, there is also a conversation with a person from the cowshed who is calling himself a cow servant.

What is the truth?

When we wanted to know the truth of this video, we found the mobile number of Sandwa Panchayat Sarpanch Hawa Singh on the internet. When we talked to him/her, he/she told that yes, there is a cow shed outside the village. Then we further searched the internet and found out that there is only one cow shelter in Sandwa – Shri Khatushyam Gaushala Seva Samiti. From the videos and photos posted on this Facebook page, it was confirmed that the video being shared is of this cow shed. Pictures of the person who was talking at the end of the video were also found on this page.

Investigation revealed that the name of the cow servant seen in the video is Krishna, who has been a boxer. According to a post on the Facebook page of Shri Khatushyam Gaushala Seva Samiti, Krishna Boxer continued to participate in international level competitions with the Indian boxing team for 7 years. he/she was in Haryana Police and has left his/her job for cow service.


Then we found a video on YouTube in which Krishna can be seen exercising. In this video also, Krishna calls the cows and the cows come running.

conclusion

The video of the cows leaving their grazing and running away at the call of their caregiver is completely correct. In the investigation, the evidence found from Sandwa’s Sarpanch Hawa Singh to Gauseva Samiti’s Facebook page and YouTube videos is enough to prove this claim correct.
