While sharing the picture of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru on social media, a user named Aacharya Jeetendra Tiwari claimed, ‘This picture was taken at the time when Swami Vidyanand Videh had slapped Nehru hard on the face. Reason – Nehru had said in his/her speech at a function that Hindu people are refugees in India. On hearing this, Swami Vidyanand Videh ji, the chief guest of the function, stood up and slapped Nehru hard on the stage itself and snatched the mike and said that Arya Hindu people are not refugees, they are our ancestors and the original inhabitants of this country.


Another Facebook user Makarand R Karandikar shared the same picture in a group. On which it was also written that this photo was of the time when Swami Vidyanand Videh had slapped Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
