New Delhi: A video is going viral on social media. In which Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is announcing his/her resignation. This video has been shared on many social media accounts. However, when Sajjag’s team investigated this video, this claim turned out to be completely false. Along with this, the voice heard in this video is also created by AI.

While sharing this video on social media, an ex-user named @JustinTrudeauNo wrote, ‘Breaking my resignation speech!’

Along with this, another user named @TruthsStellar also shared this video and wrote – Resignation speech of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.

What was found in the investigation?

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s resignation speech has gone viral as soon as it was posted on social media. However, when Sajjag’s team searched the international website, nothing like this was found there. After this, Sajjag’s team took out key frames of the viral video and checked it through reverse image. After which a post was found on the official X account of the Canadian PM. In which the outfit of the Canadian PM and the background of his/her video were all the same. In that 1 minute 49 second video, Trudeau’s voice was different from the voice in the viral video.

After that Sajjag’s team turned its investigation towards AI. However in the meantime an Instagram post was found. In which it was claimed that the viral video was made with AI.

Now Sajjag’s team checked the viral video with True Media. As a result, the audio of the viral video has been created with AI.
