To find out the authenticity of the video, first of all we searched the keywords related to it on Google. In the search result we found a link to the video news of Hindi news website Amar Ujala. The headline of this news is – ‘VIDEO: Muzaffarnagar: Youth caught for trying to force a student into a car’. Even investigation revealed that the video is from Muzaffarnagar only.

After this we searched the X handle of Muzaffarnagar Police. Here we got the statement of Muzaffarnagar CO Sadar Raju Kumar Sao on this incident. In his/her statement, CO Sadar said, ‘On the evening of January 16, a girl living in Civil Lines police station came with her family and complained that a boy was harassing her by calling and messaging her from different numbers for the last 15 days.
