Fact Check: A man from Pakistan, not from Haryana, was arrested by Japanese police in the case of molesting a girl.

While sharing this picture, some users are claiming that the name of this person is Pramod Rathore who is from Haryana. This man has been arrested for molesting a Japanese girl.

Investigation revealed that the person seen in the viral picture is not an Indian, his/her name is Afzal Muhammad and he/she is from Pakistan. Let us know how Sajjag’s team fact checked this viral claim. First of all, we checked the picture shown in the viral X-post with the help of Google Lens. After which we found many ex-posts on social media, in which it was claimed that the person seen in the viral picture is from Pakistan.

After that, we started investigating some reports as per the information given in the post found on X. after which we A report published on kjclub.com Found. According to this report, Takao Police Station of the Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a Pakistani business school student for allegedly having indecent acts with a high school girl on JR Chuo Line and then kidnapping her.
