Facing Bumrah is like a nightmare, that right-handed Wasim Akram… Langer scared his/her own team

New Delhi. Former Australian cricketer and coach Justin Langer has praised Jasprit Bumrah. he/she has compared Bumrah with former Pakistani bowler Wasim Akram. While praising Bumrah, he/she even said that facing him/her is like a nightmare. he/she is right handed Wasim Akram. Talking about Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Jasprit Bumrah is in great form right now. Till now he/she is on top with maximum 21 wickets. During this period his/her strike rate is 25.14 which is much better than other bowlers.

Justin Langer, while talking to the press before the start of the Boxing Day Test match, said, ‘I don’t like facing him/her at all. he/she is like Wasim Akram. For me, he/she is the right-handed Wasim Akram. Every time I am asked who is the best bowler you have ever played against, I say – Wasim Akram.

Justin Langer further praised Bumrah and said, ‘he/she has a good pace and great bowlers bowl the ball at one place. he/she has a good bouncer. So this makes them a terrible nightmare. he/she has the ability to swing the ball both ways. his/her seams are really perfect. If you introduce a perfect seam and it comes out of the fingers perfectly, as it does with them, then you are guaranteed success. Akram used to do this and facing him/her was like a nightmare.

Langer further said, ‘I don’t like facing Bumrah at all. he/she is an excellent competitor. They bowl at good pace and they are amazing. I had said at the beginning of the series that if Bumrah remains fit, it will be a very difficult summer for the Australian batsmen. If he/she doesn’t stay fit, Australia will easily win the series and I still believe that.
