Till now BCCI has not given any update on his/her injury. Do you know how it is decided how many days’ rest an injured player needs?

Jasprit Bumrah felt back pain on the second day of the Sydney Test, after which he/she left the field. he/she did not return to bowling even on the third day. When coach Gautam Gambhir was asked about this in the press conference, he/she avoided it. Now everyone has to find out how serious is the injury of their star bowler. What came out in the scan? Will he/she be fit before the Champions Trophy?

How is it decided how many days to rest?
The severity of the injury suffered by any player decides how many days he/she will remain away from the field. If the injury suffered by a player falls in Grade 1 category, then at least two to three weeks of rehabilitation is necessary for him/her. In case of Grade 2 injury, the player’s recovery may take 6 weeks. If grade 3 is the most serious, it requires three months of rest and rehabilitation.

Bumrah may be out of the next series
The 5-match T20I series between India and England is going to start from January 22. Immediately after this, the Indian team will play a 3-match ODI series against England from 6 February. There is little hope of Jasprit Bumrah playing in this series. This will be the last ODI series for the Indian team before the Champions Trophy.
