Nagpur: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan often remains in the discussion regarding his/her statements. Sometimes criticism of the Kerala government and sometimes his/her statements on some other issue become popular. Now one of his/her statements on Hinduism has become a topic of discussion. he/she said that whoever is born in India is a Hindu. he/she said that Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder of Aligarh Muslim University used to say this and I follow him/her.
‘All Hindus born and living in India’
Governor Arif Mohammad Khan of Maharashtra said during a program in Nagpur that I am educated from Aligarh. Its founder Sir Syed had said that he/she does not associate the word Hindu with religion. he/she said that I believe that every person who is born in India, lives in India, eats grains grown from the land of India, drinks water of India, has the right to be called a Hindu. he/she said that you go to Arab country. Whether you are Hindu, Muslim or Christian, they call you Hindi only.
I have no dispute with the Kerala government – Governor
While speaking on the dispute with the Kerala government, the Governor said that the Raj Bhavan has no dispute with the Chief Minister. he/she said that dispute happens only when you encroach on someone else’s work area. The governor has been made the chancellor in the university so that the university remains autonomous and the government does not interfere in it. I am trying to save his/her autonomy.
