Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the Union Budget 2025 on 1 February, which paid special attention to encouraging private investment and allocating more money for the agricultural sector. Is the eighth budget
This was the eighth budget introduced by Nirmala Sitharaman. While presenting the budget, he/she mentioned the famous writer Gurjada Appas Rao in his/her speech. he/she was known for opposing social evils through his/her compositions. he/she quoted his/her lines: ‘Deshmant Matti Kadoi, Deshmant Humanuloi’, which means “the country is not only formed by soil, but the country is made up of its people.”
How many budgets have come so far

Since independence, 73 budgets have been presented in India till now and this is the eighth consecutive budget of Nirmala Sitharaman. In this way, there is a continuous budget in India since independence. For children, this will work to increase the scope of their knowledge.
What is for students in the budget

This time some of the reforms made in the budget are also for students. The Finance Minister said that for the convenience of the students, infrastructure will be developed in 5 IITs set up after 2014. Hostel and other facilities will be constructed in it.

Digital books facility

The Finance Minister announced that 50,000 Atal Tinkering Labs would be installed in the next five years, to encourage scientific thinking and innovation among students. In addition, the government will launch the Indian Language Book Scheme, under which digital books will be provided in Indian languages for schools and higher education.
Internet will be in schools

In the next five years, 10 thousand fellowships will be given for technical research in IIT and IISc. The government will establish Gyan Bharat Mission for survey, documentation and protection of manuscript heritage. Broadband connectivity will be provided to all government secondary schools and primary health centers in rural areas under the Bharat Net Project.
