Even after doing MBA from Harvard University, I am not getting a job, I have to face pressure to get a job!

Harvard University News: After doing MBA from Ivy League universities of America, it was believed that students would get a job anywhere in the world. However, now the situation has changed and even pass out students from Ivy League universities are not getting jobs. Harvard University, included in the Ivy League, is considered one of the best universities not only in America but in the world. However, even after completing MBA from Harvard in 2024, students have to struggle for jobs.
The MBA degree from Harvard is considered very prestigious. Earlier, after doing MBA from here, one could get job in top companies like Google to McKenzie. But now the unemployment rate of Harvard graduates has doubled. According to Forbes report, Harvard Business School graduates are struggling to get jobs. In 2022, only 10% of MBA students were having difficulty finding a job within 90 days of completing their studies, but now this number has increased to 23%.

The number of placements from Harvard University is also gradually decreasing. The placement rate here is much lower as compared to universities like Stanford, Columbia, Chicago Booth. In such a situation, it can be said that even after doing MBA from Harvard University, there is no guarantee of students getting a job.

Why are Harvard graduates not getting jobs?

According to JP Morgan report, 2.56 lakh new jobs were created in the job market till December. Many reports also came out about the improvement of America’s economy. Even though the unemployment rate in America is low and there is a shortage of talent, people are still finding it difficult to get jobs. There are some special reasons for this also. For example, new people are not being hired in the tech and finance sectors, due to which even people doing MBA from top institutes are not getting jobs.

According to a Forbes report, “After the Covid pandemic, trends like automation, remote work and gig employment models have emerged. Companies are now focusing on changing their organizational structure. Smaller teams are being formed and traditional business knowledge is being replaced by There is more emphasis on skills. The traditional MBA program, though still considered prestigious, does not match the new priorities.”
