Enemy’s grave will be built in water, K-4 ballistic missile successfully tested, launched from INS Arighat, know its features

New Delhi: India has shown its strength to the world by successfully testing its indigenous K-4 missile. It is a long range nuclear missile. It was launched into the Bay of Bengal from a submarine named INS Arighat. With this test, India has become a strong strategic power in South-East Asia. The test was conducted by the Strategic Force Command (SFC) on Wednesday. With this, India has become one of the few countries which have the capability to fire nuclear missiles from submarines.

Enemy’s grave will be built in water

This K-4 missile can hit a distance of more than 3,500 kilometers. It has been created by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). This missile can accurately target enemy territory from underwater. The INS Arighat submarine is of 6,000 tonnes and was inducted into the Army in August. The successful testing of the missile from this submarine reveals India’s technological capability.

India ready for every answer

India’s nuclear power has become even stronger with this test. This is in line with India’s ‘No First Use’ policy. Meaning, India will not use nuclear weapons first, but is ready to respond if someone attacks. This strengthens India’s security position in the Indo-Pacific region.

K-4 is perfect

The K-4 missile is solid-fuel and flies with boost-glide technology. Because of this it is difficult to capture it from enemy radar. It can dodge any anti-ballistic missile system. It also has the facility to update the navigation system with the help of satellite. This increases its accuracy even further. This missile is 10 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. It weighs about 20 tonnes and can carry a warhead of up to 2.5 tonnes. Very few countries in the world have this type of missile.

Defense experts say that the ability to fire nuclear weapons from a submarine is safer than weapons fired from land or air. Because the submarine remains hidden under water and it is not easy for the enemy to detect it. Therefore it is difficult for the enemy to attack a submarine.
