‘Emergency’ gets Vivek Agnihotri’s support, gets angry at CBFC, says these things

Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’ got postponed due to the delay in getting the certificate from the censor board. The actress also started receiving death threats from the Sikh community. Those people said that some parts of Kangana should be removed from the film. Then Kangana shared a video on social media, in which she told that she has demanded some parts like Indira Gandhi’s assassination, Punjab riots and some other things. That is why the movie has not got the certificate yet. Vivek Agnihotri has given his/her reaction against censorship on all these controversies. Vivek Agnihotri, director of ‘The Kashmir Files’, wrote on X, ‘If someone has shown something in a creative way, then it should not be censored. This is what I believe. But if you still insist on censorship, then why don’t you start with TV debates, news programs, political speeches and sermons related to religion? All these are often the real sources of fake news, division, hatred and violence.’

Vivek further said, ‘If you feel that it defames you or hurts your sentiments, then you should muster some courage to accept that criticism. And if it doesn’t show your side, then make something that shows your side. Because in the end, cowardly cavemen censor only that thing which exposes their ugly face to the world.’

Kangana Ranaut has become Indira Gandhi

Although Vivek did not name anyone here, Kangana Ranaut posted his/her tweet on her Instagram story, which caught everyone’s attention. The actress has played the role of Indira Gandhi in the movie and apart from her, other actors include Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Shreyas Talpade, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman.
