ED summons Raj Kundra in pornography case, interrogation will take place in Mumbai office

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in the high-profile pornography racket case. Sources said that this development has come to light after raids at several of his/her locations. According to ED sources, 49-year-old Raj Kundra has been asked to appear before the agency at 11 am on Monday. he/she will be interrogated in the Mumbai office of ED.

Let us inform that ED had raided the house of Raj Kundra and some other accused on Friday in connection with the investigation of a money laundering case related to the alleged distribution of pornography.

Raj Kundra was arrested

This May 2022 money laundering case is related to at least two Mumbai Police FIRs and chargesheet filed against Raj Kundra and other accused. In this case, Raj Kundra and some other accused were arrested by the police and later they were granted bail.

Property worth Rs 98 crore was confiscated

This is the second money laundering case against Raj Kundra. Earlier this year, ED had seized assets worth Rs 98 crore of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty in the crypto currency case, but the couple got relief from the Bombay High Court against this attachment order of ED.

Request not to drag wife’s name

After the ED raid, Raj Kundra had said that he/she is fully cooperating in the ongoing investigation for the last four years. he/she wrote on Instagram, ‘As far as the claims of pornography and money laundering are concerned, we would just like to say that no amount of sensationalism will be able to hide the truth, in the end justice will prevail! A request to the media not to repeatedly drag my wife’s name into matters with which she has nothing to do. Please stay within limits…!!!’
