Dulquer Salmaan plays Parshuram in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’! he/she was young even in old age, will have a big role in the next part

Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has brought the age-old epic Mahabharata back into vogue. he/she has rooted his/her futuristic film in the stories of the epic, with Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of the immortal Ashwatthama and by the end of the film, he/she revealed that Vijay Deverakonda is playing Arjuna, while Prabhas is Karna. But there is another character that has intrigued the audience and that is Dulquer Salmaan. There are a lot of speculations on the internet about this role. his/her character in the film is named Captain who nurtures Prabhas’ character Bhairava and teaches him/her the ways of the dystopian world. But Captain loses Bhairava in gambling and in return has to hand Bhairava over to Kamal Haasan’s men. Now, the theory is doing the rounds that Dulquer is playing the role of Lord Parashurama who was Karna’s guru.

Dulquer Salmaan has become Parashuram?

This theory is proven true by the end of the film, when it is revealed that Prabhas is the reincarnation of Karna. Another aspect of the theory is that Lord Parashurama is said to never grow old and always look the same, the same seems to be repeated with Dulquer as he/she looks exactly the same while Bhairava grows up to be a skinny boy when he/she snipes at the Captain.
