Duleep Trophy: India B defeated the A team led by Shubman Gill badly, Sarfaraz Khan’s brother became POTM

New Delhi. In the Duleep Trophy, India B team has defeated India A team. Team A had to face defeat by 76 runs. In the second innings, only KL Rahul’s bat worked from the A team. Apart from this, no player could score anything special. Players like Shubman Gill, Mayank Agarwal flopped in both the first and second innings. Sarfaraz Khan’s brother Mushir Khan was given the Player of the Match award for his/her brilliant century.

Under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, India A won the toss and decided to bowl first. India B came out to bat in the first innings and scored 321 runs. Which included 181 runs by Mushir Khan. Apart from this, Navdeep Saini played an innings of 56 runs. Akashdeep took 4 wickets in the first innings. Then India A came out to bat in the first innings. India A scored 231 runs after losing 10 wickets. In which 36 runs were extras. In this way, till the first innings, India A was behind by 90 runs.

In the second innings, India B scored 184 runs on the strength of Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant. Pant played an innings of 61 runs. Whereas, Sarfaraz Khan scored 46 runs. Akashdeep took 5 wickets here. That means he/she took 9 wickets in the entire match. Now India A needed 274 runs to win. But India A could score only 198 runs. KL Rahul scored 57, Riyan Parag scored 31 and Akashdeep scored 43 runs. In the second innings, Yash Dayal took 3, Mukesh Kumar took 2 and Navdeep Saini took 2 wickets.

Musheer and Akashdeep were the heroes
Musheer Khan impressed with his/her batting while playing for India B against India A. he/she scored a century in his/her first Duleep Trophy match. Musheer scored 181 runs in the first innings. he/she hit 5 sixes and 16 fours in his/her innings. After the match, he/she was given the ‘Player of the Match’ award. At the same time, fast bowler Akashdeep took a total of 9 wickets.
