Duleep Trophy: Gambhir’s favourite gets chance in the team, Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja out

New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s fast bowler Mohammad Siraj and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are out of the Duleep Trophy. Giving this information on Tuesday, BCCI announced the names of fast bowlers Navdeep Saini and Gaurav Yadav as their replacements. The Duleep Trophy matches are going to start in Bangalore from September 5. Before the upcoming series to be played against Bangladesh, the players of the Indian team were asked by the BCCI to play in domestic tournaments.

Changes have been made in the teams of the Duleep Trophy starting from the 5th of next month. BCCI announced replacements in Team B and Team C on Tuesday 27 August. Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj’s name was included in Team B but Navdeep Saini has been selected in his/her place. At the same time, Umran Malik has been dropped from Team C. Gaurav Yadav has been included in the team in his/her place. Delhi pacer Navdeep Saini is very much liked by Team India’s new coach Gautam Gambhir. he/she has talked about this talented player even before becoming the coach.

Mohammad Siraj and Umran Malik will not be able to get fit before the opening matches of the Duleep Trophy. For this reason, their replacement has been announced while excluding them. At the same time, it has been decided to release experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja from Team B. There will be a match between four teams in the Duleep Trophy. Shubman Gill will captain Team A while Abhimanyu Easwaran will lead Team B. Rituraj Gaikwad will be seen captaining Team C, while Shreyas Iyer has been made the captain of Team D.
