DU Cut-Off 2024: Highest cutoff for BA and BCom is 88%, see DU NCWEB college wise list

Delhi University NCWEB Cut Off List 2024: Delhi University’s (DU) Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) has released its first cutoff list for undergraduate courses. This time admission will be easy in NCWEB centers set up in 26 colleges of DU. Because compared to last year, there is a drop of 2% to 10% in different colleges in both BA and BCom. DU is giving admissions for UG courses in regular colleges on the basis of CUET scores. But in NCWEB, admissions will be based on the cutoff i.e. 12th class scores.

From 10 am on August 23 to 11:59 pm on August 25, students will be able to take admission online at NCWEB centers set up in 26 colleges. The second cutoff will be released on August 30.

How many seats in DU NCWEB

NCWEB has centres in 26 colleges of Delhi. There are about 15,190 seats for BA and BCom. There are 9,230 seats for BA and 5,960 seats for BCom. This board holds classes for girls of Delhi only on Saturdays or Sundays throughout the year and during academic breaks in the university. NCWEB director Prof. Geeta Bhatt says, this time we have received about 22 thousand applications. There is a decrease of 2% in the first cutoff compared to last year. It has been reduced more by just one or two colleges. This time we will start classes in September.

NCWEB: DU B.Com cutoff

Almost all the colleges have lowered the cutoff in BCom. It is the lowest at 60% in Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College, which is 2% less than last year. Miranda House has kept the highest cutoff for BCom at 88%, which is 1% less than 2023. Hansraj College kept it at 87% (1%). Apart from these four colleges, students will get admission in all other colleges with 62% to 73%. For example, the cutoff in Motilal College is 63%, in Jesus and Mary it is 72%.

DU BA cutoff down by 10%

There has been a significant drop in the cutoff for different combinations of BA as compared to last year. The cutoff for BA Political Science and History combination is the highest for all combinations. Miranda House will give admission at 88%, a drop of 3% from last year. Hansraj College has kept it at 87% (drop of 2%). Aditi Mahavidyalaya has kept the cutoff at 60% for this course, while Bhagini Nivedita College has kept the lowest cutoff at 58% (dropped by 10%).

Except these four colleges, students will get admission in the centres of different colleges with 63% to 72% marks. For BA – Economics and Political Science, admission will be given in Miranda College at 85% (5% drop), in Hansraj College at 87% (1% drop), while in the rest of the colleges, seats will be available with 57% to 68% marks.
