DU Admissions 2024: Third round for admission to vacant seats in Delhi University from 11

DU Vacant Seats Admission 2024: More than 75 thousand admissions have been done in Delhi University and now the third round for the remaining seats will start from September 11. However, before this DU will release the first list for sports and extra-curricular activities (ECA). Apart from this, it will also release the first list for all performance-based courses – BA Honors Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts, BSC Physical Education, Health Education and Sports.

Apart from this, the list will be announced for many supernumerary quotas – ward quota, CW seats. There are 14 thousand such seats. The first round seats for performance based courses like music, fine arts, ECA, sports, ward quota, CW quota will also be allotted on 3rd September. Students will have to accept them from 3rd to 4th September. Fees can be paid till 6th September.

In which colleges seats are vacant

After two admission rounds, more than 75 thousand admissions have been done in undergraduate courses of DU. There are 71600 seats in the university and in many colleges, more admissions have been done than the seats in those courses which have high demand. Like B.Com, B.Com Honors, Political Science Honors, English Honors, History Honors. This is because in the first round, the university had given admissions on 25 thousand additional seats.

However, apart from these courses, seats are still available in some other colleges in North Campus, South Campus and other colleges, which will be allotted in the third round. Students will also get a chance to get admission in some seats in many courses in many evening colleges including PGDAV, Ambedkar College, Aditi College, Bhagini Nivedita College, Gargi College, Janakidevi College, Acharya Narendra Dev College, Shyamlal College. Students will also get seats in science courses in other colleges including North Campus, South Campus. Admissions will also be given in Humanities and Commerce.
