DU Admission Process: Admission in 3 phases, know how to do choice filling, how will the seat be allotted

With the release of the result of Common University Entrance Test (CUET), Delhi University has opened the correction window for its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) form. Students who have filled the form in the first phase and if there is any mistake in their form, then they can correct it now. This window will remain open till 11:59 pm on August 4.

Students who have not applied for sports or extra-curricular activity seats (Sports and ECA Quota Seats DU) while filling the form in the first phase will also have a chance to apply till August 4. This will be the last chance.

DU Admission Process 2024: Admission in three phases

• DU Admission 2024 Phase 1: Along with this, students have to upload their 12th marks, necessary documents in the portal. Phase 1 is still going on, under which more than 2.73 lakh students have registered in DU so far. Out of these, more than 2.13 lakh have also paid the registration fee. Students have to complete the first phase by filling personal information, 12th score, form for ECA/sports quota and paying registration fee in six steps.
• DU Admission Phase 2 2024: NTA has released the result of Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Now students are waiting for the second phase of DU, which will start soon. In this, students will fill in the form for their choice of course and college.
• Delhi University Admission Phase 3: Students will be allotted seats in various colleges and courses on the basis of CUET merit.

DU Seat Allocation: Second phase from 1st or 2nd August

DU will start the second phase of Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) in one to two days, in which students will be able to fill their choices for course and college. DU’s Dean Admissions Prof. Haneet Gandhi says that we are working on the CUET-UG scores received from the National Testing Agency (NTA). As soon as the data integration work is completed, the window for the second phase will be opened. It is expected that this work will be done on Wednesday or Thursday, i.e. the window will be opened in one to two days.

The score pattern of CUET UG has changed this time. This time there is raw score (marks) in the score card instead of normalized score, percentile. Due to this, DU can also make some changes in the seat allocation system. For admission in UG courses, students will fill the choices of different courses and colleges of DU in an order. After this, different colleges will be allotted to them on the basis of CUET score and choice of the students.
