DU Admission 2021: 29000 applications came on the first day, seats canceled in these top colleges, know when the third cut-off?

DU 2nd Cut Off Admission 2021:Delhi University (University of Delhi) has declared the second cut-off from Monday, October 11.DU 2nd Cut Off Admission 2021) have started. On the first day more than 29000 students have taken admission in Undergraduate (UG) courses in DU colleges. The applications of 2593 students out of total 29,086 who took admission have been approved while 2100 students have deposited the fees for the admission process.

The University (DU) had released the second cut-off for UG courses admission on October 9, on the basis of which students can take admission till October 15. After this DU will release the third cut-off list. The University of Delhi had released a set of instructions that the candidates have to follow to complete the UG admission process.

Admission cancellation round also started
After DU 2nd cut-off, students are also applying for seat cancellation. The fall in the second cut-off has given the students a chance to choose the college and course of their choice. Students who want to change their college or course on the basis of second cut-off can apply till October 13.

Admission canceled in these colleges
In Hindu College, 2 seats in English Honors, 4 in Philosophy Honors and 3 seats for Political Science Honors have been cancelled. In Ramjas College, 100 admissions have been approved and 40 admissions have been cancelled. After 221 admissions in Sri Aurobindo College, 70 admissions were canceled. For applications, 433 applications were received in Aryabhatta and 131 in Rajdhani College. However, both these colleges have also witnessed high cancellations as students with high cut off as per first cut off list were also applying under second cut off list. 64 admissions have been canceled in Maharaja Agrasen College.

DU Admission 2021: Here is the next schedule
Third cut-off by Delhi University on 16th October (DU 3rd cut off 2021) will be issued. The online admission process will run from October 18 to 21. The admission approval process will be till 22 October and the last date for fee submission will be till 23 October.
