Especially if a woman is in her first and third trimester, then she should not fast. Because these two phases are very important for the growth and development of the baby. Fasting may slow down his/her growth. Women whose blood sugar level remains high are not advised to keep fast. Actually, during fasting there is a risk of sugar level being too low or too high.
