Dreaded all-rounder injured before India-Australia series, who will replace him/her?


New Delhi. The Australian cricket team has suffered a big setback before the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy against India. Team’s all-rounder Cameron Green is injured. Due to injury, Green has been ruled out of the England tour. Green has a back injury. Due to this injury, it has now become doubtful for him/her to play in the 5-match Test series against India to be played from 22nd November. Cricket Australia says that nothing can be said about Green’s injury until he/she reaches Perth. There is still about 2 months left for the Test series between India and Australia to start.

25-year-old Cameron Green had complained of stiffness in his/her back in the third ODI of the 5-match series against England. In that match played at Chester-le-Street, Green took 2 wickets for 45 runs while scoring 45 runs with the bat. The scan revealed an injury to Green’s back. After which he/she had to return home before the important series against India.

Australia’s fifth player injured on UK tour
Cameron Green was rested in the second ODI against England. he/she was given rest under workload management but he/she played all three T20 matches against Scotland. The list of injuries to Australian players on the UK tour is getting longer. he/she is the fifth player to get injured. Earlier, Nathan Ellis, Xavien Bartlett, Riley Meredith and Ben Dwarias have been injured.

Green made his/her debut against India
Cameron Green made his/her Test debut against India under the Border Gavaskar Trophy. he/she entered Test cricket 4 years ago. Then he/she scored a half-century in Sydney. Last year, when the Australian team came to tour India, Green tried to prove his/her identity by scoring a brilliant century in Ahmedabad. he/she was in the news this year after playing an inning of 174 runs. he/she played this innings against New Zealand.
