Dravid’s son Samit enters Under-19 team, will show his/her strength in this series


New Delhi. Samit Dravid, the all-rounder son of legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid, who is called the ‘wall’ of the Indian cricket team, has entered the India Under-19 team. Samit has been successful in making a place in the Under-19 team for the upcoming home series against Australia. A 3-match ODI series will be played between the Under-19 teams of India and Australia. The first ODI match of the series will be played on 21st while the second and third will be played on 23rd and 26th September respectively in Puducherry. Mohammad Aman of Uttar Pradesh will lead the India Under-19 team.

After the ODI series, two four-day matches will be played between India Under 19 and Australia Under 19 teams (India U19 vs Australia U19). The first match will be played on 30 September while the second and last match will be played from 7 October. In this series, the India Under 19 team will be led by Soham Patwardhan of Madhya Pradesh. All-rounder Samit is currently playing for Mysore Warriors in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy being held in Bengaluru.

Samit Dravid’s best score in Maharaja T20 Trophy is 33 runs
Samit Dravid has not been able to perform well in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy so far. he/she has scored 82 runs in 7 innings in which his/her highest score is 33 runs. he/she has not yet got a chance to bowl in the tournament. However, Samit performed well in the Cooch Behar Trophy earlier this year and played an important role in making Karnataka the champion for the first time. The 18-year-old scored 362 runs in eight matches and played a brilliant innings of 98 runs against Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, he/she took 16 wickets in the tournament. These include two wickets taken in the final against Mumbai.
