  • Black carrots- 2-3
  • Salt- 1 teaspoon
  • Ground mustard powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Black salt- 1/2 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida- 1/3 teaspoon
  • Water- 3 glasses

Note- To make this recipe given by Dr. Shilpa as per your taste, you can take salt and asafoetida as per requirement.

  • First of all, take black carrot and peel it and cut it into 2-2 inch long pieces.
  • Now take a pan and add 3 glasses of water in it and boil it.
  • When the water boils, take it out in a bowl and keep it to cool a little and then add black carrots in it.
  • When the color of the water turns pink, add rock salt, mustard powder, black salt and asafoetida and mix well.
  • Now fill this water in a jar and keep it for fermentation for 3-4 days.
  • Here is ready the Kanji drink recommended by Dr. Shilpa to keep the skin healthy.
