New Delhi. Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) is organizing Delhi Premier League T20 on the lines of IPL. The league started on Saturday (17 August). 10 teams are participating in this league, out of which 6 are men’s teams and 4 are women’s teams. A total of 40 matches will be played in the league, out of which 33 are men’s and 7 are women’s matches. The first match of the tournament was played between Old Delhi 6 and South Delhi Superstars under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant. Pant missed his/her half-century by 15 runs.

Singer Badshah and Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa set the stage on fire with their performance at the opening ceremony of Delhi Premier League T20. Indian star Rishabh Pant along with pacers Ishant Sharma, Harshit Rana and Navdeep Saini are playing in this tournament.
