During the festival, sweets are prepared in every house, which we eat out of greed. But even a little carelessness can prove dangerous for heart health. A lot of adulteration is found in the oil and mawa used in sweets, which has a bad effect on heart health. Eating too much sugar causes narrowing of the arteries and increases the risk of heart attack. Therefore, consume sweets only in limited quantities during the festive season.

During festivals, along with sweets made from sugar, many salty dishes are also prepared, seeing which we are unable to control our pride and end up consuming it in large quantities, which is harmful for the heart. Eating too much salt increases the risk of high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke and many heart-related diseases. In such a situation, minimum salt should be used in the dishes prepared at home.

If you eat these, the accumulation of blocks in the arteries increases, due to which the problem of heart blockage may increase.

Physical activity is very important for a healthy heart. This means not only exercising but also cycling, climbing stairs, and walking every day. Due to not doing physical activity, the risk of weight gain increases, which is not good for heart health. If the hands and legs remain active, the body’s calories are burnt, which keeps the cholesterol level under control and prevents the arteries from getting blocked. Apart from this, ensure adequate sleep at night and try to take minimum stress. And don’t forget to take your medicines from time to time.
