Section 59, 68, 60 will attract heavy fine

Well, there is absolutely no entry for drunk people in the Delhi Metro, nor can you carry a bottle of liquor inside. But still if you travel in metro by any means, you can be fined Rs 200 as per section 59 of Delhi Metro. Also, if you create nuisance in the metro, or spit or sit on the floor of the train or fight, then also you will be fined Rs 200. Also, according to section 68 of the Delhi Metro section, if you create obstructions in the duty of any official, then you can be fined Rs 500. Also, if you carry objectionable material in the metro, you will be fined Rs 200.

Section 69, 62, 70 will be fined

If you travel without a ticket in the Delhi Metro, you may be fined Rs 50 or more as per section 69. According to section 62, if you damage any thing of the railway or are found writing or pasting something in the compartment or anywhere, then you will be fined Rs 500. According to section 70, if you create any kind of obstruction in the operation of the train or tamper with the alarm, then you will be fined 500 rupees.

Fine under section 63, 72 and 64

If you travel by sitting on the floor of the train, you can be fined Rs 50 plus thrown out of the metro as per section 63. Also, according to section 72, if you cause damage to property, you will be fined Rs 200. If you break the rules and enter the metro or walk on the track, you can be fined Rs 150 as per section 64.

Fine imposed under section 73, 64(1), 75

You must have seen people selling goods in Indian Railways or bus, but if found doing so in metro, then according to section 73 you will be fined Rs 400. Section 64(1) If you sit on a seat reserved for women and refuse to get up, you will be fined Rs 250. Also, if you sell tickets to people illegally, you will be fined Rs 200 as per section 75. If the person refuses to pay the fine in any of the above mentioned cases, he/she will also be handed over to the police.
