Although Champa plant can be planted in many ways, for this, seeds, cuttings and soil etc. will be required. However, it is said that a plant planted from cutting grows faster than that from seed. But to plant cuttings, you will not need two-three flowers, but a whole branch. You can easily get Champa branch anywhere, planting it is not a difficult task.

To plant Champa plant, you will have to take a medium or large sized pot. Now the soil has to be prepared for the plant, it would be better to use the soil only after keeping it in the sun for a day. Mix 50% coco-peat and 50% vermicompost and fill the soil in the pot.

Some people, after taking a cutting from a plant, plant it directly in a pot, whereas this should not be done at all. Actually, when you take a cutting, a milk-like substance should come out from it. If you plant it directly in a pot, it will become a victim of fungus. Apart from this, the color of the cutting branch should not be light green but brown or grey. After taking the cutting, keep it in the shade for 7-8 days so that the milk dries completely. After that you plant the cutting in the pot. Keep in mind that it should be buried 3 to 4 inches inside.

After planting the cutting, you will now need to water it. So you add appropriate amount of water in the pot, now your pot is completely ready. It will take time for the plant to grow, here you will have to be patient. Do not use chemical fertilizers at all for quick growth. Due to chemicals it loses positivity, if you want you can use cow dung manure.
