These small and beautiful plants can also cause allergies. According to Crystal Duran, their leaves are fuzzy, due to which more dust remains on them and the flowers contain pollen. Both of these can trigger allergies.

english ivy

Some plants cause only physical allergies. English ivy is one such plant. It contains a substance called flucarinol, which can cause skin irritation and blisters if touched.

Rubber tree is known for its shiny leaves and easy maintenance. But it can cause problems for people with allergies. Actually, this plant produces a white colored liquid which is called latex.

If you’re allergic to latex, touching it can cause skin irritation, itching and difficulty breathing, according to Duran.
