Disengagement and verification on LAC almost complete, know when the armies of India and China will go out on patrolling.

New Delhi: The process of disengagement and verification is going on simultaneously in Depsang and Demchok on LAC in Eastern Ladakh. Final verification will be done through patrolling only. According to sources, disengagement and basic verification will be completed at both these places by Tuesday or Wednesday. After which the first patrolling party will leave on 30th or 31st October, and through this patrolling, final verification will also be done. The process of disengagement at Depsang and Demchok on LAC in Eastern Ladakh is in the final stages. According to sources, as the tents and temporary structures are being removed, verification is also being done. That means the process of disengagement and verification is going on simultaneously.

Will inform each other before leaving
According to sources, the process of re-location is going on where the soldiers are to be left behind. It will be completed by Tuesday or Wednesday. Patrolling will be started only when the local military commanders of both the countries are convinced that everything has been done as per the agreed upon. According to sources, no fixed formula has been made as to how many times and at what intervals the soldiers will patrol. It has just been decided that whenever Indian soldiers go for patrolling, they will inform the Chinese Army about the day, time and area and similarly, Chinese soldiers will inform the Indian Army before going out on patrolling.

this did not happen before
Before April 2020, when there was patrolling, this did not happen. That’s why faceoffs used to happen then. Now this has been done to avoid faceoff. According to sources, although verification is also being done along with disengagement, the final verification will be done only when the patrolling party goes. On the question of how many soldiers will go on patrolling, sources said that generally 10 to 25 soldiers go on patrolling. When the patrolling goes for a long distance, there are about 25 soldiers and when the patrolling is for a short distance, there are 10 to 15 soldiers in it. Same thing will happen now also.

When will patrolling start?

According to sources, if disengagement is completed on Wednesday i.e. 30th October, then patrolling can be done on the same day. Patrolling will start on 30th or 31st October. Either the timing of patrolling by Chinese soldiers and Indian soldiers will be different or the day will be different. According to sources, their first petrol may go to some area, ours may go to some other area. The only condition is that it has to be told first. Soldiers of both the countries will be able to patrol at all the places where they were patrolling before April 2020. With this, the situation before April 2020 will be restored in Depsang and Demchok.
