The world should think about money… Delhi Police warns fans before Diljit Dosanjh’s concert, beware of fraud

Why could the fan not get the ticket, there was fraud!

According to the report of Free Press Journal, Riddhima Kapoor has said in her legal notice that the time for booking tickets on September 12 was announced as 1 pm. But the organizer opened the ticket window a minute earlier i.e. at 12:59, due to which hundreds of fans booked tickets a minute earlier. Since Riddhima Kapoor was waiting for 1 pm, she missed getting the ticket. Money was also deducted from her account, then it came back and she came to know that the ticket could not be booked, because all the tickets were sold 1 minute earlier.

Because of this the fan sent a legal notice

Riddhima Kapoor was very excited for this live concert. To book tickets, she even got a credit card for ‘early-bird pass’. She has accused the show’s organizers of rigging the ticket prices and violating customer rights. She said that this is black marketing of tickets. Suddenly all the tickets were sold out, which clearly shows that fraud is going on. This is a wrong trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 with the intention of selling tickets at higher prices. Apart from Diljit, legal notices have also been sent to Zomato, HDFC Bank and Saregama Private Limited.

On the other hand, Delhi Police has issued a creative warning against fraud in the sale of Diljit Dosanjh’s concert tickets. They shared a video of a concert based on the singer’s famous track ‘Born to Sign’. Using the lyrics of this song, Delhi Police wrote a funny caption, ‘Don’t get your band played by paying money for tickets on a wrong link in the quest to listen to the song. Verify the link.’ It is also written, ‘The world should think about money, the world should stay alert and avoid online fraud!’
